TOPS Knives Emergency Fire-Starter Kit

Lightweight, easy to carry and works even when previously soaked in water.

The fire-starter consists of three rods, first rod is a Ferrocium super flint firestarter consisting of Mischmetals (Rare Earth Metals) Iron, Magnesium, Cerium, Lanthanium, Cerium, Neodymium, Praseodymium. This rod is used to strike a spark. The second and third rods are Magnesium, shavings from these are used as tinder and ignited using the ferrocium rod.

All three rods are pressed into a 3/4" Aircraft Aluminium Machined Barrel. In additiona a Military P-38 Can Opener and TOPS Extra Loud Whistle are included. All items can be carried on the supplied Military Stlye 30" Ball Chain or in a pack. The P-38 can be used as a striker for the Ferrocium rod.
