How can I pay?

You can pay securely via Credit/Debit Card or PayPal Express Checkout

How will the payment appear on my credit/debit card or PayPal statement?

Payments will show on your Credit/Debit card statement as 'EDCGEAR' or PayPal account as 'PAYPAL*EDCGEAR'.


How do I know if an item is in stock?

The automated order system checks actual stock levels when you add an item to your basket. If the item is out of stock you will be unable to add it to your basket, you can only add the quantity to your basket that are actually in stock.

How will I know you received my order?

You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been successfully received.
If you don't receive an email within 24hours of placing your order please check your junk email folder. If you still haven't received an email then please contact us.

When will my order be despatched?

For items in stock orders are normally despatched the same or next working day.

Will I know my order has been despatched?

You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been despatched. If you have not received a despatch email please check your 'Junk/Spam' email folder.

Can I cancel an order once it has been placed?

Your order can be cancelled up until the point that it has been despatched. Please contact us.
If your order has been despatched you can return it unused with the original invoice within 14 days for a refund.


How much does delivery cost and how long does it usually take?

  • Royal Mail 1st Class - FREE on orders over £30, orders £30 or less delivery is £1.95, normally delivered within 1-3 working days

  • Please note for very large or heavy orders we may use Parcelforce Express or a courier for delivery, we will notify you beforehand.

Can I track my order?

Once your order has been despatched you will receive a despatch email, if you have selected a tracked delivery service you can check the status of your order online at Royal Mail Track & Trace.

Can you despatch to an alternate address?

If it is your first order it can only be delivered to the cardholder's or verified PayPal address (to prevent fraud).
If you are a previous customer then we will ship to an alternate address, just place the order then send us an email with your order number and alternate address, or give us a call.

Is a signature required on delivery?

Orders are scanned by Royal Mail for delivery confirmation and will not require a signature.


How long do I have to return an item?

*** Christmas Extended Returns Period *** Please note for purchases made in November or December we have extended our returns from the normal 14 days so you have until the 14th January 2021 to return any items.
The item must be returned unused and with its original packaging.
Refunds or exchanges will not be provided until the item has been received.
If part of an order is returned for a refund resulting in the original order value to drop below the free delivery threshold the original postage cost will be deducted from the refund.
Refunds normally take 2-5 working days and can only be made to the card or PayPal Account originally used for the purchase.
Please include the original invoice with the return or if that's unavailable please include a note with your name and address and a telephone number if possible so your return can be processed as quickly as possible.

We advise returning your order via a guaranteed service such as Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed For as we cannot be held responsible for any goods lost during return delivery. The items are your responsibility until received by us. Please state if you would prefer a refund or exchange. The customer is responsible for the cost of returning an item, unless the item is damaged, faulty or an incorrect item was sent, in this case we will refund the return postage cost - the item must be returned by Royal Mail 2nd Class 'Signed For', please note we cannot refund the cost of premium return methods or courier returns.

International Returns International returns will be entitled to a refund of the value of goods purchased but will exclude the original shipping costs.

It is the customer's responsibility to use a reliable tracked postal method as the liability remains with the customer until the goods are received by EDCGEAR.

EDCgear takes your privacy seriously and only uses the information you provide in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. The information you provide is used to process your payment and order and all information is encrypted for safe transfer. EDCgear may from time to time contact you the customer with offers and promotions by the email address you provide during checkout. If you do not wish to receive such email we will at your direction immediately remove you from future emails.

Rights of the Seller

The Seller may at any time update prices on the website. The Seller reserves the right to withdraw any goods from the website at any time. We reserve the right to refuse any order.

Limitation of Liability

Except as may be implied by law where the Buyer is dealing as a Consumer, in the event of any breach of these Terms and Conditions by the Seller the remedies of the Buyer shall be limited to damages which shall in no circumstances exceed the Price of the Goods and the Seller shall under no circumstances be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage whatever. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit the liability of the Seller for death or personal injury resulting from the negligence of the Seller or that of the Seller's agents or employees.
